Meet Dr. Pleiman

Stephanie Pleiman is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and is licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in the state of California since 2017. She previously practiced in Washington state for 7 years where she worked in a medical practice focusing on using homeopathic medicine to treat children and families for a variety of acute and chronic concerns. Her focus is providing children and their families with individualized and comprehensive care.

She believes that the human body is capable of deep and transformative healing if given the time and support that it needs and enjoys empowering her clients to find the treatments and supportive therapies that help them improve their health and well being. Homeopathic medicine is one of the most complete forms of treatment which has the ability to address diseases and disorders on physical, mental and emotional levels of the body. After personally and professionally witnessing the results that are possible with homeopathic treatment her goal is to bring this safe and effective medicine to more children and families in her community.

Stephanie’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. She has also taught a variety of classes at colleges and universities in the areas of basic science, medicine and nutrition to undergraduate and graduate students over the last 14 years. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, cooking, reading and trying out new restaurants in San Diego. In her free time, she likes to explore the beautiful state of California and travel to new places.
